An almost 5 meters long and 110 cm wide, bespoke kitchen island made og Travertine feels very much home now. The renovation is finally over and surrounding interiors are certainly designed to accompany and match it perfectly.
We delivered this bespoke kitchen island on the 1st floor in the center of Copenhagen last year. It’s weight is approx. 1.400 kg.
Notice how the veins in the travertine follow all the way around the island. Travertine is a form of terrestrial limestone that can be found around mineral springs, especially hot springs. It tends to have a fibrous or concentric trsucture and exists in white, beige, cream-colored, and even rusty varieties.
Milestones for the project:
- This bespoke kitchen island was produced and assembled at NO.BA STUDIO’s manufacturer;
- Packed nicely together afterwards;
- Driven out to the customer;
- And re-assembled on-sight where it will now stand for many years.
