…in the eastern part of Copenhagen, near Svanemøllen train station, there is a townhouse area called Strandvejskvarteret.
It is also known as “The composer’s neighborhood” – designed by architect Frederik Bøttger – who outlined “Humleby” and “Katoffelrækkerne” as well.
These surroundings were built between 1893 and 1903 – originally – for the least privileged so they could afford a good home.
Today, these townhouses, are mainly expensive high-end private owned homes.
NO.BA STUDIO has been part of the renovation at one of these houses, designed by Norm Architects
